IZZI Net Should Be Re-named LOUZZY NET
This post is no different but I want to give you more reasons not to subscribe to IZZI...ooopppsss...LOUZZY Net if you want to prevent premature wrinkles and lines formation and other stress-related disorders! And also prevent wastage of your hard-earned money!! As much as I hate bad customer service, IZZI Net is also giving consumers BAD customer service!!! I won't be talking about how slow and always getting disconnected IZZI is because I have written about it before. I renew my IZZI subscription every 30 days online because I don't want to pay them in advance for LOUSY service. But each time I renew it, they will take at least 1 week before they will update my account to show my renewed subscription. Many times, even after I've paid, there'll be at least 1 or 2 days at the end of their so-called grace period of 7 days after the expiry of my subscription when I cannot connect to my Internet. And when that happens, I have to waste my money to call up my credit card company to check with them whether the payment to that inefficient IZZI has been approved. Then, the most dreaded part, is to call that inefficient IZZI and tell them that "I 've paid 1 week ago but my Internet connection IS BAD, SUCKS!!!" And the reply I always get is, "Oh, Ma'am, our record here shows that your subscription has expired and the transaction a few days ago showed that it has failed." Then, I would 'JUMPED" and said, " what are you talking about?????? I just called my credit card company, and they said the transaction has been approved the day after I made the transaction on this-and-this date, and that was already 4(or 5 or 6) days ago!!! What do you mean transcation failed?" IZZI: "No, ma'am, it says in my record that the transaction failed........" Me: "^$&*%O*&TI$&^(&*P(.............." IZZI: " OK, ma'am. I'll talk to my supervisor to check with my accounts department and get back to you." Bla bla bla.....Almost every other month, similar kind of phone call/conversation will take place. Of course, I have edited the dialogue but it always centers around similar lines!!!!! And many a time, they NEVER get back to me, and even if they did fix my Internet, it would be fine for only 2 or 3 days before going back to become a 4th-world country TORTOISE internet again!!!!! And my money already wasted on the phone bill with an unproductive conversation, in addition to my money wasted where I have paid for 30-day of Internet subscription but in total time, I actually get to use only about 24 or 25 days of Internet, sometimes, even less, during the 30-day subscription period!!!!! 7 days in a week, 7 mornings and 7 afternoons and 7 nights.....and at least 3 out of all the 7's, I will get SUPER SLOW and DISCONNECTED EVERY 5 MINUTES Internet!!!! This can be already amounted to cheating the consumers!!! 1st, they say I have not paid when my credit card company already confirmed that the payment has been transferred to their bank account. 2nd, I pay for a 30-day subscription when in fact, I only get to use the Internet for as stated above, an average of 24 or 25 days in the 30-day period! And did I ever get any compensation from that IZZI for that average 4 or 5 days when the Internet connection was so slow or when I couldn't connect to the Internet at all????? The answer is NO!!!!!!!!! NO APOLOGY, NO COMPENSATION AT ALL!! Yes, people have already suggested to me to ditch IZZI and change to another Internet service provider(ISP), but I Googled up reviews on other ISPs and I read more bad than good reviews on other ISPs as well!! And I hate to sign up for a minimum 1-year contract with any new ISP because none of them that I know of allows me to sign up for short-term contract. I know they offer some crap like 'money back guarantee' and what-nots, but do you know the hassle you have to go through when trying to get your money back??? THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT TAKING YOUR MONEY FROM YOU, BUT WHEN YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK........IT WILL TAKE YOU AGES AND LOADS OF FORMS TO FILL UP AND YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM VALID REASONS FOR UNSUBSCRIBING. Strangely, how come they never ask us why we want to subscribe to their Internet in the first place and when we want to unsubscribe, we have to go through so much trouble?? That was what happened to a friend of mine when she wanted to return her useless Maxis Broadband and get her money back!!! P.S. To my dear readers, I have been having a lot of troubles with my Internet connection lately. Sometimes, your comments will be delayed in appearing or may be lost while in the process of moderation because it invariably takes me an average of 30 minutes to open up a page, just about any page. Yes, it can take that long without guarantee that the page would be successfully downloaded! And when I try to reload a particular page, sometimes, data may be lost. MY APOLOGIES.
